Alcohol Support Group For Lesbians Focus on alcohol use, misuse, abuse and addictions as they pertain to lesbian life. Closed support group meets in Berkeley. Lesbians of color and lesbians from poverty/working class encouraged.
Alternative House: 9-12 month Residential service: Supportive, drug-free, therapeutic environment for recently detoxified drug dependent persons who are attempting to re-enter society as self- sufficient individuals.

Castro Village Detox offers low-cost (based on ability to pay) services for people recovering from drugs and alcohol.
COPASA (Comprehensive Outreach Project for Asian Substance Abusers): encourages Asian & Pacific Islander injection and polydrug users and their partners to enter treatment and reduce their risk of HIV infection, through outreach, counseling, assessment & treatment referrals. Multi-lingual. Free.
